Peachtree City
Peachtree City is an award-winning master planned community located just south of Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1959, the city is most well-known for its extensive multi-use path system. The population of 36,000 people own approximately 10,000 golf carts, which are used as alternative transportation on the over 100 miles of paths incorporated throughout the city. The paths are also enjoyed by cyclists, runners, and walkers, providing a safe alternative to roads.
Peachtree City was originally designed around six villages. Each village contains not only homes and schools, but convenient shopping, restaurants, and recreational areas. As the town and the path system grew, all of the villages became easily accessible to residents throughout the city, leading to an unmatched sense of community enjoyed by residents and guests.
With a variety of home styles, sizes, and price points, and an exemplary school system, Peachtree City lives up to its town motto, where many of our visitors “Plan to Stay.”
